A Hopeful Cynic
I went back to the things that made me happy when I was younger, even though sometimes it doesn’t go whatever yeah cool.

I’m not a naturally positive person; some might even say I came out of the world cynical. But in my vast exustensical journey of the last gfew years, I’ve needed to really think about what would make it worth it to go on; how do I find hope in a world that doesn’t always allow for a lot of hope to exist.
I went back to the things that made me happy when I was younger, when I–without realizing it–first started my creative journey. I loved to play. I love to create for the sake of it, and I loved putting a smile on my face and others. I don’t always think it’s the answer to everything, but it was a catalyst to think about the mark I could potentially make in the world, even if it was a small one.
